Bucksaw Workshop

"Build Your own Bucksaw" was the very first day event we ever hosted back in 2020 & we can't wait for it to make a return this Summer.

Join us among the trees for this hands-on workshop where you will have the opportunity to “build your own bucksaw.” Why buy a pre-made kit when you can make your own bucksaw?  In just a few hours, we'll guide you through the process of crafting your very own saw that you can take home & keep.   The bucksaw is compact enough to fit in your bag, unlike a bulky bowsaw & can tackle jobs that a folding saw can't handle.

Not only is building your own bucksaw a rewarding experience, but it also allows you to customize your saw to your liking. From choosing the type of wood to selecting the perfect blade, you'll have full control over the final product.  Plus, our expert instructors will be there every step of the way to ensure you leave with a functional & durable tool.

Aside from the satisfaction of crafting your own tool, owning a bucksaw can come in handy for a variety of outdoor activities. Whether you're camping, hiking, or just need to prune some branches in the garden, a bucksaw can make those tasks much easier.  Plus, it's a great conversation starter & a unique addition to your collection of outdoor gear.

So, join us for a fun & educational workshop where you'll walk away with a new skill & a useful tool that you've built with your own hands.

During the event, you'll get to:
