Discovering the Nutritional Benefits of Dandelions (Taraxacum Officinale)

Dandelions are often viewed as an annoying weed, but they are in fact an incredible source of vitamins A, B, C, & D, as well as minerals such as iron, potassium & zinc making them a wonderful, often overlooked, edible plant.

Foraging for edible plants is an exciting way to connect with nature & learn about the abundance of wild food available to us.  With an experienced guide leading the way, you will learn how to identify various plants & discover their unique flavors and nutritional benefits.

After harvesting your bounty, you'll get to enjoy the satisfying process of preparing your own food.  The plants will be cleaned & battered in a delicious local beer, which will add a unique flavor to the dish.  Then, you'll have the opportunity to cook your creation over a cosy campfire, which will not only add to the experience but also enhance the flavor of the food.

As you indulge in your mouth-watering Springtime treat, you'll have the satisfaction of knowing that you've gathered & prepared the ingredients yourself.  And, with a storage container in hand, you can take some extra freshly made snacks home to enjoy later or share with friends and family.

- Camping chair

- Food container
