Summer Green Woodwork

Being confident & comfortable using cutting tools in the outdoors is really the backbone of bushcraft, it can open up a new world to us, enrich our time spent in our wild spaces & no other person embodies this ethos, and the spirit of bushcraft, more than the one & only Mors Kochanski.

Following Mors' ethos here we will welcome in the Summer by cooking up a wonderful meal, the only catch is you're going to have to make the utensils.  Mors Kochanski once said "The more you know, the less you have to carry" so we're heading into the woodland with just our knowledge and leaving with various cooking utensis made by your own two hands.

Intorducing this years first monthly event focused on cutting tools where you will learn the puropses, application and safe use of various tools under the guidance of an experienced instructor.

This event will cover:

- Knife work

- Axe work

- Billhook work

- Folding & fixed blade saws

- Health & safety

- Legalities

- Create your own camp items from natural materials

- Rope & knot work

At this event our aim if for you to be able to safely, comfortably & competently use a variety of cutting tools to create an array of functional & practical items for you to use (& keep) making your time spent in the woodlands easier.

With these skills you will have the opportunity to create your own cooking utensils perfect for those Summer cookouts you have planned.

If you have your own equipment & want to bring it along feel free, we love to see peoples gear.  If not don't worry, we will provide all the equipment you will need for the afternoon.
