Firecraft & Flying

We're delighted to bring you our first event co-hosted by KL Falconry.  Over the past couple of months we have worked together behind the scenes to put something truly special together for you all & we think we've cracked it.

At this event you will spend a beautiful Spring morning in the woodlands here at Fox Covert where you will:-

- Learn long estblished fire making techniques

- Build, light & maintain your own campfire

- Prepare traditional woodland food

- Cook over the open fire

All before heading onto the lawn for your very own, up close & personal Bird of Prey encounter.  This may inclued:-

- The opportunity to handle a range of birds of prey

- Get up close with these magnificent animals as they spend time on your gloved hand

- Be shown the correct techniques to handle the animals

- Fly the birds from your hand

- Throughout this, you are in control of the animal with a professional Falconer by your side

- Feel the thrill as a bird of prey in flight land on your hand for the first time!

- All the while a professional Falconer will provide you with stunning facts and personal stories streching across continents surrounding these majestic creatures

Then finally, as we begin winding down as we return to the woodland to enjoy the food previously prepared by yourselves.

Enjoy a relaxed pace in a stunning environment free from pressure or expectation, socialise with friends, rewild yourselves and go explore.
