Estabilishing Camp

This time around we're taking inspiration from the one & only Ed Stafford.  A personal hero of ours, Ed's time spent outdoors & expeditions have been a great inspiration so we're putting the prep work in now before we spend the first of many nights within the woodlands later in the year.

Following the success of last years Camp Setup & looking ahead to our next overnight camp we're thrilled to bring you Establishing Camp, where we will retread some familiar ground & cover some basics before we take a deeper look at natural & debris shelters as well as hammock, basha, tent & lavvu camping.

Join us for the afternoon where you can practice your skills in a relaxed environment & make sure your next adventure has the perfect setup.  Our instructor(s) will provide you with all the information & equiptment you will need before heading out to explore, experiement & setup your basecamp all in preperation for spending the night.

At this event together we will:

- Identify the best site possible

- Look at ways to reduce your impact on the land

- Create your own pegs & toggles

- Practice various ridgeline & tarp setups

- Knot tying & their practical application

- Look at various natural & debris shelter construction

- Tarp, hammock, basha & tent sleep systems

- Skill sharing

If you wish to bring your own gear along to practice with by all means please do; traps, hammocks, bashas, lavvu etc. we love to see peoples kit & equipment.  If not don't worry, we've got you covered.  Any equipment you may need can be provided for the event.

*Please be aware this is a preperation event, we will not be spending the night (this month)
